My friend shared this article with me about the Americanization of the Rue St.-Honoré.
Although I find this news exciting it also worries me because as pointed out in the article this also comes with the “casualization of fashion,” if the French start to look to us for trends and ways to dress, who will we look to?
I remind myself that this may be far off though because they still get a kick out of cowboys and Indians, a trend we have been over for years!
I suppose it is also important to keep in mind their style is totally different, their preppiness is actually considered BCBG, bon chic, bon genre. So at the end of the day their chicness shines through no matter what.
No need to panic yet.....
